There are in-depth accounts of alleged domestic violence in this tale.

Jonathan Majors, a former star of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is awaiting sentencing for assault and harassment charges related to a domestic matter. Jonathan is accused of abusing both physical and emotional abuse of many previous partners.

Emma Duncan and Maura Hooper, two accusers who contend Majors mistreated them throughout their encounters with him, have detailed their story in a recent New York Times article. Majors’ former fiancée, Duncan, said that she first noticed his amorous side before hinting at his purportedly more dangerous and manipulating side.

At first you feel, ‘Oh, I’m being loved,’” Duncan said. “And then you feel, ‘I’m being erased.’” In statements to Jonathan’s prosecution ahead of Majors’ recent domestic trial, Duncan detailed an alleged 2016 incident in which they were arguing during a road trip in Chautauqua when Majors “threatened to strangle and kill her.”

A month later, Duncan visited Majors on the set of the Western drama film, Hostiles, when she discovered messages to another woman on Majors’ Apple Watch. The Loki star allegedly threw the watch out the window on the way back to the hotel, before he “pushed Ms. Duncan into the couch and began to choke her” when they got there. Jonathan also allegedly threatened to kill her threw her around, and said, “‘I’m going to make sure you can’t have children.’

While Majors and Hooper were both attending the Yale School of Drama, they dated from 2013 to 2015. Hooper also testified that Majors showed signs of softness at first, but that with time, Jonathan became more and more dominating.

Hooper was “not allowed to speak to anyone about their relationship, isolating her from a support system,” as stated in the pretrial statements.

Hooper also claimed that Majors had consented to an abortion when she became pregnant, but had left her in the hospital in order to go to a rehearsal. Subsequently, Hooper stated that she found out Majors was cheating on her when the actor made suicide threats. Majors reportedly taunted Hooper when they split up, saying things like, “I hope you die; kill yourself,” and “I’m going to rip you out of my heart the way they ripped our baby out of you.” Hooper then briefly dated a person he knew.

Majors is also accused of mistreating employees while he was a staff member of the HBO horror thriller series Lovecraft Country. It has been reported that majors have belittled female crew members, called them names, and engaged in heated arguments with them. Furthermore, his behaviors are said to have forced several of them to quit the program.

Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, acknowledged that her client made mistakes in each case but refuted all of the accusations made by the actor’s former partners and the Lovecraft Country production.

After a domestic dispute between him and his then-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, in March of last year in New York, Majors was found guilty of third-degree reckless assault and harassment. Majors played the villain Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Loki, and on the day of the conviction, he was sacked by Marvel Studios from the job. The guilty judgment also resulted in the banning of his Disney/Searchlight sports film, Magazine Dreams.

It was first revealed in April of last year that many women were thinking about filing abuse reports against Majors. In the past, the actor refuted the accusations, citing his “immersive method acting” as support.

Majors’ domestic case was just adjourned to April 8th, and he is still awaiting his punishment. The actor may spend a year in jail or probation.
